For Vietnamese citizens, a visa to Brunei is required if you want to stay for more than 14 days. If you only travel for less than 14 days, you will be exempt from a visa.
You will need to prepare a complete set of documents, which usually includes the following:
Passport: valid for at least 6 months.
Portrait photo: size 4x6 cm, white background.
Personal documents: Citizen ID card/National identity card, household registration book, birth certificate... (notarized copy).
Financial proof: Savings book, bank statement to prove ability to pay for the trip.
Documents proving employment: Labor contract, leave application, decision to send on business trip (for business visa)...
Invitation letter: Invitation letter from partner, relative in Brunei (if any).
Round trip airfare and detailed itinerary: Travel or business itinerary.
Consulting and optimizing documents: Service companies will help you check, prepare and complete documents in the best way to increase the possibility of getting a visa.
Save time and effort: Instead of learning complicated procedures yourself, you can let the experts do it for you, saving you a significant amount of time.
Support for handling difficult documents: If you have a complicated document or do not have much travel experience, service companies can help you handle these problems.
Where to submit your application: Currently, the Brunei Embassy is only in Hanoi. If you are in Ho Chi Minh City, you can use the services of reputable visa companies to submit your application on your behalf.
Processing time: Normally, Brunei visa processing time can take from 7 - 10 working days. However, some "urgent" services can shorten the time to 1-3 days.
