The symposium is organized in response to the growing demands for healthcare quality, patient safety, and international integration. The program aims to: Enhance professional awareness of Medical Tourism in accordance with international standards; Support healthcare institutions in building practical implementation capacity, rather than remaining at a strategic or conceptual level; Contribute to the development of a network of hospitals in the Central region that are ready to participate in Medical Tourism; Support the sustainable development of the local healthcare system in alignment with international integration. The symposium is designed as a structured professional training program with Continuing Medical Education (CME) certification, focusing on content that can be directly applied in daily healthcare operations.

VietHealthcation (VHC Group JSC), together with the Da Nang Medical Association and CHIR - Center for Healthcare Improvement Research, convenes a focused Scientific Symposium addressing the practical advancement of healthcare quality and patient experience within Medical Tourism in Vietnam.
Da Nang has been selected as the starting point due to the convergence of clinical capacity, strategic vision for Medical Tourism, and implementation readiness. The academic leadership of the Da Nang Medical Association ensures medical rigor, governance integrity, and applicability to local healthcare settings.
As an ecosystem coordinator, we focuses on enabling execution, translating international experience into locally adaptable pathways that support healthcare institutions in progressing from intent to sustained practice.
Through collaboration with national stakeholders and international standard-setting partner of Temos International, VietHealthcation works to:
- Bridge Vietnamese clinical expertise with global quality and patient-centered care perspectives
- Contextualize international frameworks for Vietnam’s healthcare operating environment
- Support structured knowledge exchange for healthcare leaders, managers, and clinical teams
The symposium features Dr. Claudia Mika and Dr. Vicknesh Krishnan, international experts with extensive hands-on experience in healthcare quality systems, patient experience improvement, and medical tourism development across diverse healthcare settings. Their contributions focus on implementation logic, system readiness, and practical decision-making relevant to Vietnam’s current stage of development.
This symposium is expected to serve as a starting point for sustained quality improvement, continuous education, and structured action — contributing to a credible, quality-driven Medical Tourism ecosystem in Vietnam, built on safety, patient trust, and international alignment.
